Carpaccio is superb and so as tiramisu with a very balanced bitterness and lingering rum. In house made pasta is good but wagyu beef source didn’t quite stand out. Also very nice to have half size options on pastas. Service is really good and attentive

We had a fantastic experience at Il Caminetto. The food was great and the service was awesome. We shared the olives and pizza for starters, and everyone (2 adults, 2 teens) enjoyed dinner. Highly recommend the bolognese. My husband loved the veal. Our girls liked the pasta and eggplant. Dessert was good. All around great experience!

Service was ready great! They serve free breads and nice sauce ( Oliver oil with vinegar) in the very beginning. You can do half portion for pasta! The prosciutto is really good! Meatball is smaller portion and is just ok. Will definitely revisit!

Went here for their 4 course meal special and it was fantastic!! They start you with delicious sourdough and focaccia with olive oil balsamic. Olives were great, so was the chickpea but the real standout was the risotto! It was so rich and flavourful! The tagliatelle was also delicious and very rich. I had the ice cream for dessert which was the only mediocre dish. I heard the lemon dessert was way better! The whole meal was 44 plus wine. Was a steak of a deal! Also our waiter was amazing, as was the manager. Would highly recommend!

We recently dined at Il Caminetto in Whistler and opted for the prix fixe menu. Some of the dishes we tried were truly exceptional — highlights included the chickpea hummus, wild scallop crudo, mushroom risotto, and the Amalfi lemon bamba, which were among the best we’ve had anywhere. The service was warm and attentive, and staff genuinely welcomed feedback during our visit. We did mention that the kid’s menu portions were quite small — likely best suited for children around five and under. The options are solid, especially for pasta-loving kids, but just be aware the servings aren’t typical in size. All in all, a memorable meal in Whistler with standout food and delightful service. I don't hesitate to recommend this as a must do restaurant when in Whistler and we can't wait to go back.

Everything about our experience was awesome. We ordered appetizers and main dishes, and every dish was fantastic. But all aside the lobster linguine, I can’t recommend it enough! What truly made our night as a family was the exceptional service. Our server was super friendly and her attentiveness and warm demeanor made our evening at Il Caminetto unforgettable. Thank you for creating a great memory for us. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve chased down unforgettable meals across cities and continents, but nothing prepared me for this. Hands down, the best meal I’ve ever had. You must experience the four-course feast — it’s a culinary mic drop. When I show people photos of the spread and ask them to guess the price, the responses usually land somewhere between 100 and 200. The real price? Just 44. Yes, you read that right. At that quality, it’s practically grand larceny in your favor. And the hummus? Let’s just say it permanently ruined all others for me — there’s before this meal, and after.

My new happy place in Whistler !!! From host to service (with Steeve) to the food flavor and restaurant design. It's a home run. All that without sacrificing the value. We had the 3 course meal featuring the octopus cooked to perfection, the duck in perfect fashion. About the desserts, well the tiramisu was 1 of if not the best I ever had and I had a few in my life. We left the restaurant happy with full bellies. Thank you for the experience
